Am i eligible for NET/SET exam after passing MSc IT with 53%


i passed out M.Sc.IT in 2013 with 53% marks.,am i eligible for the NET/SET exams?
if not what r the other alternatives?

No, you are not eligible for for NET/SET exam because your M.Sc in IT degree marks is above 55%.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.There is no age criteria for lectureship post.
