Oceanography is a subject that deals with physical, chemical, biological, geographical and behavioral nature of the ocean. Hence it also includes the study of coastal Areas to make a complete package of expertise study so that the degree holders in this field can handle any type of sensitive issue related to ocean and its impact on the coastal areas. Eligibility
A candidate is considered eligible for the MSc degree in oceanography when he or she satisfies following condition. The candidate must secure a minimum of 50 % marks in the graduation degree from any recognized university. The graduation should be in B.Sc. in Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Agriculture / Fishery Science / Earth Science / Physics / Microbiology / Applied Sciences.
