Am I eligible to study B.Tech Mechanical Engineering after completion of B.Sc?


Sir, can I get admission in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering after completion of B.Sc with Mathematics as one of major subject and scoring 82%? Can I get into lateral entry scheme and get direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech?

Yes, you are eligible to study BTech mechanical engineering after completion of BSC.

In order to get admission in BTech after BSc you have to clear the entrance exam named LEET that is Lateral Entry Engineering Test.

Eligibility Criteria for LEET exam:-
Must be graduate in science stream like BSc with minimum 55% marks.

Must have taken mathematics as one of the compulsory subject in BSc.

Do not have any suppli in any semester

OR

Candidate must have completed his/ her diploma course with minimum 60% marks.

Do not have any suppli in any semester.
