Sir,
I have done my graduate from AMU & have done a one year NTT from Lucknow. Am I eligible for primary class (level1) exam for UPTET. Kindly reply soon.

UPTET stands for Uttar Pradesh Teachers’ Eligibility Test.

UPTET Entrance exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 is for Primary Teacher (Class I to V) and paper 2 is for Upper Primary Teacher (Class VI to VII)

The eligibility criteria required to appear for this exam are as under :-

-The candidate must be an Indian .

-The candidate should possess two years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from Uttar Pradesh OR four year diploma in elementary education with at least 50% marks in aggregate to apply for Primary Teacher.

-The candidate should possess graduation from a recognized university with one year degree in elementary education (B.El.Ed) OR BTC training from Uttar Pradesh OR two year program in diploma in BTC/CT (Nursery)/ NTT with at least 50% marks in aggregate to apply for Upper Primary Teacher.

-There is no age limit to apply for this exam .

For applying for TET exam
1. You must have completed graduation with one year B.Ed in relevant subject.
2. In degree you have minimum 50% marks.

Through TET exam you can become a primary, secondary school teacher.

For primary Level Teacher :

The candidates must have Graduation Degree with minimum of 50% marks with 2 years Diploma in Special Education

For Upper Primary Level Teacher :

The candidates should have Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks with one year in Elementary Education

Their is no Age limit this entrance exam
