Am l eligible to write MVI exam having completed Mechanical engineering?


I have completed my Mechanical Engineering and also have Heavy Motor Vehicle HMV License with driving experience and successfully completed apprentice. Am l eligible to write MVI exam?

Eligibility Criteria for the MVI exam

Education -

1. Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from government recognized Institute.
2. Candidates having bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Automobile Engineering can also apply.
3. Production engineering, fabrication engineering, metallurgy engineering, industrial engineering candidates can also apply now.
4.final year candidates can also apply but they should complete degrees before mains exam.

Experience-

1. One year experience in maintenance and repair of heavy and light vehicles.
2.If candidate don’t have experience he should take 1 year experience after selection.

License -
Candidates should have license for light and heavy vehicle before mains exam.

Physical Standards -
Height – 163 cm
Chest – 79 cm.

Vision- 6/6 Near Vision :0.5

Age- Between 21-34 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidate and 5 years and others candidates is permissible .
