i wanted to know whether there is an entrance exam for bsc maths and bsc statistics. what is the eligibility for bsc maths and also for bsc statistics? i have passed hsc with commerce and i had maths as a subject so am i eligible for bsc maths or bsc statistics. which of these two have a better scope? also sugest some colleges offering these courses in mumbai.

Respected sir, In order to be eligible for the course of bsc maths and B.Sc in statistics, one will have to be at least 10 + 2 passed or its equivalent from a well recognized educational board of India. Apart from that, the candidate should have mathematics as a main subject in the 10 +2 level.
There are almost all the major universities are offering this course. generally there is no common entrance examination for this courses. how ever some universities may conduct their own entrance tests.

For the B.Sc maths...Eligibility is one has to pass the higher secondary school certificate exam from a recognized board.Some of the most reputed universities that offer B.Sc in Mathematics are,

there is no such entrance for getting into bsc maths or statistics in most of the colleges unless u want to admit yourself in renowned colleges like Indian statistical institute,kolkata or IITs.
minimum eligibility is the cut off offered by the college provided u hav passed hsc successfully.
