What courses can I do after B.Sc(hons) statistics from B.H.U. . Also what diploma can I do.

First of all congrats that you have graduated in Statistics from BHU, one of the Best University of India.

Career oppurtunity are wide spread after acquiring a degree in Mathematics and Statistics.

Some of the best optiosns for a Statistic Graduate are as follows:-

M.sc (Statistics): This the best option then opting for any other PG or Diploma courses. After persuing M.sc in Statistics or Applied Statistics, pletjora of oppurtunities wiil be opened for you and the best one will be ISS (Indian Statistical Service). Whereas in private sectors, various types of good Jobs in Banking, Fianance, Insurance, Risk Management etc. will be available for you.

MBA: Other better option is MBA with specialisation in Finance or HR will help you to build a better corporate career.

Academics: Teaching will also be a best and one of the lucaretive career option for you, if you able to acquire M.sc + B.ed or M.sc + M.Phil or M.sc + P.hd, these will not only lead you to successful carer in academics but R & D also.

Apart from the above mentioned oppurtunities are also for you in Civil Services, Defence Service, Private and Government Banking or Finance sector, Survey of India and many more.

You can also opt for 3 years long MCA dergee, it will lead you to best jobs in IT as you have Statics degree, because MCA graduate having background in Mathematics or related subjects apartfrom CS are good valued.

Since you have done Bsc statistics from BHU no doubt you have good opportunities in front of you.
So you better do your higher studies in the same field .
this field has very much demand both in government as well as private sector.

i think MBA is best option those with statistic background and can boost with higher degree it will always a good to have degree from best institutes....so go for it.

i m pursuing my bsc in stats from Mumbai. its my 1st year. i want to know whether i should go for bsc hons or continue with bsc degree?i might go abroad for my masters(either MBA or MSc) depending on situation of requirements after 2 years.
