i want to kow about the complete details about the exams date for IES and PSU examinations .
And
Are these both exams different from each other ????

- On or before the 9th February, 2009.
- 16th February, 2008 for the candidates from far flung areas

the exams dates for IES are 04.12.2010 (SATURDAY)
Last date of receipt of application is 05.07.2010 (MONDAY)
the exams will for 3 day's.
ans yes IES & PSU exam are different

IES:
Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 26.06.2010 (Three days)
Date of Notification Application /Last date for receipt of applications
: 6th February, 2010 to 22nd February, 2010
both exams are differrent..
We may also start correspondence courses for PSUs, which will include parts on technical, aptitude, general knowledge etc.

Last Date of submission of Application forms: 2nd March, 2010
Dates of Engineering Services Examination: 26th, 27th, and 28th June, 2010 (3 days)
it has been passed therefore apply for next year

Hi!

Yes, IES exam is different from PSU exams. Only candidates holding a bachelor's degree are eligible for IES exam while a candidate having bachelor's degree in any stream can appear in state PSU exams. The syllabus & exam pattern of both the exams are also different.
