I have appiled for iitjee 2011 in the syllabus they have included aptitude test i want to know whether this test is common for all the candidates or only for those who have already choosed that pls say that

Aptitude test is meant for candidates desirous of persuing B.Arch.

Candidates those who wants persue B.Arch from IIT, have apppear for both JEM (IITJEE) and Architech Aptitude Test.

According to official source, result for JEM will be announced on 15th May, so candidates who successfully crack it have to apply for that Aptitude test, which has been scheduled on 10th June, 2011.

For any specification you can refer to official website of your zonal IIT, or Information Brochure would also be enough.


So, you need not to worry, just focus on your preparation.

you have to give aptitude test only if you are applying for B.Arch.Otherwise if you are applying for B.E/B.Tech then there is no aptitude test.

there are many students who aspire to join engineering and there are many ways of entering into engineering one such way is through the JEE exam conducted by IIT.
IIT is one of the top ranking institutions in India and the number of aspirants wishing to join IIT are many times more than the available seats in order to allot seats for the deserving students entrance exam is conducted
the exam is common to all provided the aspirant satisfy the eligibility requirement.
He/she should have completed his/her 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics as there subjects.
Diploma aspirant from institution recognized by aicte can also apply.
One can attempt Jee maximum of two times.

Is the aptitude test in IIT JEE common for all?

No, Aptitude Test is not a necessity for all students but is essential only for studenst who want to study B.Arch .

So if you are going to apply for B.Tech then there is no need of Aptitude Test so don't worry and concentrate on your study to get better results in IIT-JEE 2012.

hii friend...here i can help you...the aptitude test is not for all students...it is for the students who want to join in b-arch courses.......hope this help you................

No, the aptitude test are not same in IIT JEE. Every year the IIT's organized the IIT exams and state government organized the JEE exams. So there must be different aptitude test papers for both this two exams.
