Assam Down Town University is Approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), University Grants Commission .

But this college is private institute .It is not a govt college .

The Assam down town University is sponsored by the down town Charity Trust which was formed in 1999 with the urge to do something for the underprivileged and deprived sections of the society in North Eastern India.
ADTU has been approved by the AICTE, starting 2010 session, for Engineering, Pharmacy and Management education.

Yes it is approved by the AICTE, but it is not a govt college and this is a private college and also every year this university is inviting the applications for eligible candidates as per Assam Down Town University.

Assam Down Town University is offering the may undergraduate and postgraduate courses and generally required educational qualifications are for undergraduate courses 10+2 from recognized educational institute.

For admission in postgraduate courses, required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation from recognized university with marks and here not required any age limit.

Assam down town university was formed in 1997 by down town hospital limited.Its not approved or recognized by any government institution and also it does not come under any known university. It is formed and maintained by down town charity trust.
