Hello!
I am a diploma holder(from Nirma uni.) with 1.5 year exp. now i want to join degree in mecahnical college in gujarat, but i didnt appear in gujcet, now what are the possibilities to get admissions in Degree course? When i the forms will be available? and which are the collages for mechanical Engg?

Good option to enter Engineering education is by aieee

Other options are by Management quota/Sponsored quota.

You have to spend lot of money for getting admission.

Another option is If you are employed, you can pursue B.E(Mech) at Evening College. All you have to do get a certificate from your employer.
Gujarat Arts & Commerce College at Ahmedabad provides Evening/Part-time B.E.

dear freind since you have done diploma according to a rule colleges take lateral admission in direct second year if u have good percentage and you can apply directly to top colleges..............so freind contact colleges as soon as possible....

If you have'nt appear for Entrance then better go to Bangalore.

There you can find direct admission.

You can try for following institutes:-

AIMS

R.L.Jalapa Institute of Technology .

MCKV Institute of Engineering

Besides these there are numbers of institutes where you can get direct admission.

But if you dont want to lose this year hurry up because sessions will start from 1st week of july.

don't worry!!!! , there are many colleges in delhi and andhra pradesh will admits students without any entrance so you can take admissions in them starting in most of them in mid. of july ...

some of them are :

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya,delhi

Kurnool Engineering Colleges

Khammam Engineering Colleges

Krishna Engineering Colleges

Mahaboobnagar Engineering Colleges
..... and many more are also available

hey friend if you have appeared for the AIEEE entrance exam then you can directly go to the colleges and provide them your AIEEE score card,you will get admission on that basis.........

there are some seats left even after the counseling get ends but they give that seat to you if you give some donation to them..........

or just go for some of the private colleges that provide direct admission.......

yes since you are lateral entry ,you can go on to give direct examination.
also, you will get a direct 2nd year entry.

can you tell me which(name) is the entrance exam written in andhra to enter engineering after completing diploma and when will it be held

hi friend,
if you want to take admission in the andra after your diploma course then you have to give the exam of the aieee,and after getting score in the aieee you can take admission in the good college of the andra pardesh,alo you can give the state engineering exam of the andra pardesh.

No problem. If the form date is over then you can apply for few private college in Gujrat which consider lateral entry. There are many of them i am sure about that.

Or you can wait for GUJCET next year and try for it again. Hope you dont miss it out this time

don't worry about the gujcet, no need to appear in gujcet for taking admission in gujrat engineering colleges.
there are lot of colleges that takes direct admission to 2nd year as lateral entry ,.

without appearing gujcet it is very difficult to take admission in good colleges, But you can take admission through management quotas.
& almost all private colleges have their management quotas seats. You can consult with the college.
Otherwise you have to wait for next year.

rest see at last year rankings
also you can go for lateral exam like jlet.
you thus need to give gujcet.

I have diploma in mechanical after 10th having 20year of work experiance i want to improve my education what can i do now B.Tech/ Degree or others please sugesst.

you have done your diploma, now you want to go for Btech..

yes you can go for that.. you can get admission in btech by giving lateral entry exam.. you will get the college according to your rank in lateral entry exam..

as you have missed the exam Gujcet , then you can get admission in Btech through management couta...

otherwise you have to wait for the next Gujcet..

in that case , prepare yourself very well..

HI,
If you want to take admissions in top govt. engineering college then you have to qualify the GUJ-C.E.T exam or A.I.E.E.E exam.

You can take admissions in any privet college in Your state..
For admissions in top engineering college you can take admissions under management quota..

In my opinion first you qualify the entrance exam like A.I.E.E.E, GUJ-C.E.T..
