Yes, B.Tech last semester students are eligible for SBI PO 2015 exam.

If you have completed your graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for SBI PO 2015 exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 30 year.

Age relaxation for reserved category candidates -

SC/ST – 5 Years
OBC-3 Years
People with disability (PWD) –Gen- 10 years
PWD-SC/ST -15 years
PWD-OBC-13 Years

Definitely, Final year, appearing candidates is also eligible to apply for SBI Probationary Officers (POs) examination. It is clearly mentioned in the official notification that those who are in the Final year Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally, those who clear the entrance test and if called for an interview, they will have to show the proof of having a graduation pass degree on or before 01.09.2015. It means you have to complete your graduation degree before 01-09-2015.

If you are interested in this examination, then you can register for this examination online. The Online registration is already started, the last date of applying for this examination online is 02-05-2015. Online Registration is already started from today, i.e. 13-April-2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university is the minimum criteria to apply for SBI PO Examination.

2. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination Provisionally, but they had to show the proof of graduation pass certificate at the time of interview.

3. Age should between 21-30 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.

Examination Pattern:

As you know that, SBI PO Examination is one of the toughest banking examinations as compared to other banks & IBPS. Now, SBI has changed their recruitment procedure from this year onwards. Those who are interested in an SBI PO examination have to appear for two Individual examinations.

There will be two stages in SBI PO Examination i.e. Tier I and Tier II.

Tier-I is a preliminary examination and those who crack this stage are eligible for Tier-II (Main examination). Preliminary examination is an objective one and you will get around 100 questions in this stage, the duration of the preliminary examination is 1 hour. There are total 3 section in this stage, i.e. English, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.

English section contains 30 questions, 35 questions comes in Reasoning ability section and 35 comes in Quantitative Aptitude section.

Those who clear this stage are eligible for Main examination, the main examination pattern is same as previous year examination. The duration of Main examination is about 2 hours of Objective test and 1 hour for descriptive examination.

Yes, definitely you are eligible for appearing in the SBI examination for probationary officer being a B.tech final year student based on your educational qualifications but you are required to have some more qualifications for this examination.

The eligibility criteria for this examinations are as given below :-

-->> You must be a citizen of India .
