Re: Am I eligible to appear for IBPS or SBI PO exam?
the eligibility criteria for attempting ibps po exam is as follows :
1) you must hold a degree from a recognized university.(no degree percentage cut-off) 2) age limit 20-30 years.(for general category). when comes to the reservations apart from the categories like minority,ex service men etc. there is also an added advantage to those who have worked as clerical staffs. the age relaxation for different categories is as follows. 1.sc/st category 5 years 2.obc category 3 years 3.persons with disabilities 10 years 4.ex service men 5 years these age relaxations are applicable to upper age limit. sbi po eligibility criteria : 1)you must complete your graduation from any recognized university. 2)final year students of degree/engineering are not eligible for exam. age criteria : 1)age limity 21-30 years(general category) 2)age relaxation: 1. for obc category 3 years. 2.for sc/st category 5years. 3) ex service men 5 years. finaly i would like to suggest that, you can give an attempt to po exam although you have no certificates in hand,(age criteria must be satisfied)but if you get a good score and have to attempt any bank interview through ibps score.then you must have all original certificates in hand and submit them at the time of interview. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear for IBPS or SBI PO exam?
Hai Friend,
Yes, if your results will come before the IBPS or SBI PO Exam, then you are eligible to write the Exam. So, start your preparation from now itself. Remember, both the IBPS and SBI PO exams will be very Tough. For written Test you will have four sections. They are: 1) Aptitude 2) Reasoning 3) General English 4) General Awareness. There will be section wise cutoff and you need to qualify in all the above sections. one more thing the minimum salary for Bank PO is 40,000 permonth. So, work Extremely Hard. Don't miss this opportunity. All the best. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear for IBPS or SBI PO exam?
IBPS and SBI mention graduation as the basic qualification for bank P.O. They never specify as final year graduates can attend the selection process. Even though final year students appear for the exam, they do have the provision to produce required certificates at the time of interview. If they are confident in producing the required documents at the time of interview, then they can apply.
