what is the best book to prepare for cdac..online examination??

HI!

The books that are mentioned in the Brochure are sufficient to prepare for the C-DAC Entrance exam. The only thing needed is an understanding of programming languages (not mugging programs).

However,prepare well for Aptitude/Math/English section too, since it is vital to score above 90 percentile to get an admission in a good institute [CDAC ACTS (Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad) or MET-Mumbai].

A systematic Approach to Digital design- Fletcher (Prentice Hall)
Digital Logic and Computer Design -Morris Manor (Prentice Hall)

Computer Architecture
Computer Architecture-John Hayes
OR
Computer Organization by Hamacher, Zaky -(Mcgraw Hill)

Any Graduate level books for the other Topics
Note:- More emphasis will be on digital and Computer Architecture

CDAC examination is done for the following full time Post Graduate Level Programs courses ::

Diploma in Embedded Systems Design
Diploma in System Software Development
Diploma in Advanced Business Computing

CDAC exam consists of two sections:

Section I ::

Part A : Digital Design
Part B : Computer Architecture
Part C : Basic Electronics

Section II::

General Aptitude
Reasoning
English

Eligibility for CDAC::

You must have got bachelor degree in any of the subjects mentioned below ::
