Hello,

If you want to prepare for Gate exam, you have to start preparing from now on, start focusing about your basics and read the syllabus, point out what are important and what are not.

Solve the past year questions and concentrate on concept not on theory derivation. Also try making separate note of equations with 2 marks and grasp it along with its concepts, remember this is important.

Do self study and revise important topics in your syllabus, know the mark distribution.

So, self study ,it is the best and you can crack easily with systematic approach, here are some of the books to help:
