IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. From the last academic year, IBPS started conudcting common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions to 19 public sector banks. SBI and SBI Associate Banks will not come under this category.
The written exam consists of Questions from the following categories. -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness with special reference to Banking knowledge -General English -Computer Knowledge. The IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection.And it is conducts the CWE (Common Written Examination) for the post of Clerical Cadre, Bank PO and Specialist Officer every year.
Qualification: The minimum Qualification is Graduation from a recognized university. Age Criteria: The age limit should be in between 20 to 30. For SC/ST/OBC has a upper age relaxation. IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. * From 2011 , IBPS has the authority to conduct a common written examination for Clerical and PO posts in 19 public sector banks. The examination consists of 250 questions carrying 1 mark each from 5 different subjects. These subjects include - a) Quantitative Aptitude b) Verbal & Non - Verbal Reasoning c) English d) General Awareness e) Computer.
