dear friend
No, you will not get admission in BITS because you will not get 80% marks. to get admission in BITS, you should have obtained a minimum 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination. But you have scored 79% marks, then you are not eligible for Bits pilani..... |

Re: BITS eligibility?
Thats soo disheartening. 393 in BITSAT is really an awesome score and i bet you must be in the toppers list in India. But since you have got 79% you are not eligible for it
BITS asks for exact 80.00 % in order to be eligible Anyways try for NITs if possible |

Re: BITS eligibility?
It's really very sad that you have only 79% aggregate in +2 ,
But you have really done a great job in the entrance exam,393 is really considered a very good marks.. But do not take tension, and visit the official website of the BITS-PILANI.. Generally they take students with 80% marks in +2 level..But you may get chance so keep visiting the official website regularly. Remember one thing that intelligent students always get chance .All the best.. |

It's really good. But as you said you scored 79% aggregate marks so the answer is a no for you. But remember the 80% criteria is only for physics maths and chemistry. So if you have an aggregate of 80 in the three subjects then of course you are eligible. All the best |
