Hi

IAS - Indian Administrative Services

This is one of the top most Entrance Exam to crack in the country as Administrative services is a very high ranked and reputed job in India. This is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. Now If you are in 9th Class I would say its too early to start a preparation for the IAS.

The basic Eligibility Criteria to prepare for the IAS is that you should be a minimum GRADUATE in ANY stream from a recognized college in India. Also the age should be within 21-30 years for GEN, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC/ST candidates.

4 attempts are given to GEN, 7 to OBC and unlimited number of attempts for the SC/ST candidates. So at first you have to try for the 10th boards, and then do your Higher Secondary classes with a stream out of SCIENCE, COMMERCE OR ARTS.

I am giving you a COMPLETE LIST OF IAS Books. Click on this link and you would get all the books which are there for this study. Also Click Here to buy books ONLINE.

You are unable to find books online because political science is not a very famous subjects and so it may be possible that no PS books are ever uploaded online. You have to buy them new or second hand books for your preparations.

Click Here to visit the UPSC Website.

ALL THE BEST

Regards
RANJEET

hello friend ,

nice to hear that you wanted to appear for ias exam , but let me clear your doubt first , that is studying in 9 th standard is not the qualification for ias as the minimum qualification that is required for entrance exam of an ias officer is graduation . So hence i would suggest you to complete your graduation first .then after that will surely gong to help you in naming the books for an ias exam

thank you ....

It is very good that you are interested in IAS but to achieve this big goal you have to clear your board exams and graduation with good percentage so first of all clear 10th board exams with big score because it will help you to maintain your confidence.
