I got IT Branch In Gnit college i want to know is IT branch is good a good choice or i want to know about IT in detail.Please give the answer

if you ask me this question then i would say that it all depends on your interest.
if you are interested in IT sector then it is a good branch and you can easily get jobs immediately after you complete your engineering. and coming to GNIT, it is a good college and you will have on campus placements for this company so it becomes much easy for you to get a job.
so i suggest you to take IT in GNIT.

IT will continue to gain momentum. The immense expansion in networking technologies is expected to continue into the next decade also. IT will bring about an improvement in the quality of life as it impacts on global competitiveness.
Technologies that are emerging are Data Warehousing and Data Mining. They involve collecting data in normal research. Software services that are being used will go a long way.

1. your choice
2. scope
3. allotted college
4. your study
so according to you if you can fullfill these requirments at a time than you can choose IT branch.now these days the market of IT is not so good but if you are in 1st year then you should think after 4 year.

IT means (information Technology).All colleges are taken IT branch in their colleges.It is the computer oriented branch.
IT is the good choice for your carrier,After completion of the 10+2 IT course choose.

It is almost equal to the CSE in B.tech.After taking IT it is related to the Software sector.
Hear so many jobs are there in software sector After completion of the IT depend upon your interest you can join any of the platform.

As you know that this is the era of science and technology so in this era IT branch is on the high demand. IT companies recruit most of the engineers from the IT branch.

Also you finish M.Tech you can go Lecturer side in anyone of the engineering colleges

yeah IT is a good choice... its almost similiar to ECE.. most of the subjects willl be common... my Ex-gf had choosen IT.. and she got placed in TCS... no matter what you take either ECE, CS or IT or EEE you can get a job in any filed either your stream feild or in software company.. cheer :-)

you guys must be kidding me.. IT doesnt stand for information technology at BE level... its called "Instrumentation technology".... first know what it is before giving advice... IT(Instrumentation technology) is similar to ECE(Electronics and communication) so it deals with hardware most of the time.. so you will have future both in hardware and software....
