Re: Is a BSc IT student eligible for JPSC?
JPSC stands for Jharkhand Public Service Commission and the same examination is held by the Jharkhand Board of education for the recruitment of officers at the higher administrative post within the same state .
The examination follows the pattern similar to the other state public service commission and also conducts the examination in three stages which are held in mentioned order i) Preliminary test (ii) Mains (iii) Personal interview. BSc IT stands for Bachelor of Science with Information technology. Now being an BSc IT student you are eligible for appearing in this examination as any discipline bachelor degree holder are eligible for the same examination. Also for the same examination you must hold the citizenship of India with age lying within 21 years to 30 years if you are a general candidate otherwise there is provision of relaxation of upper age limit of 3 years, 5 years and 10 years for OBC, SC/ST and PH category respectively. For more details associated with the same examination you must visit the official website of JPSC i.e; www.jpsc.gov.in. |
