Sir,i m a appearing candidate in diploma course from cipet hajipur.I want to take admission in b.tech by mechanical from IPUniversity(gaziabad).what will be the procedure for taking admission and what is the last date for application form submission.

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately..............you cxan apply online also by visit that site given- http://ipu.admissionhelp.com/ggsipu/login.aspx

well dear adarsh you want the deatils about the admission through lateral entry i guess, so here is the most tentative dates and admission procedure..
make sure you follow it for right approach ::--
Lateral Entry to B.Tech.
there will be a form which will be there on 01.06.2010 (tuesday) 02.00 - 04.30 p.m. for ,
(Engineering/ Technology) programmes (2nd year / 3rd semester) for Diploma Holders in IP univ..
fill the form and do as it says and wait for your result....

but i think you can get the chances for get admission for the mechanical engineers.

procedure is simple you should be 12 pass with minimum marks 60%.and fill tha ipu form it is alsomavailable on net .log on to wwww.ipu.ac.in

you can take admission in IP university in b.tech 2nd year through lateral entry. for that you will have to fill their form. for availability of forms visit their official website

you must complete 10+2 in the any recognised board.
if you want join in that,you may download application at
www.ipu.ac.in.
this is the site of IPU.
download application form.apply to that college.

hii friend its ma pleasure to say you is you can try for some other colleges because thr rank you got its not good eligible so its better if you join in some other colleges.........

hii friend you can sure get admission in all the engineering college as its a rule of govt that to give seats for the ploy technic lateral entry students,, yeah sure you can get in ipu ...as you need to apply when the colleges gives admission for freshers if not you keep visiting the official website so that you can come to know......

you can do lot like:
1.thermal engine specifications
2.power systems
3.cad designing
4.arch graph and industrial management
ipu has such openings with this courses in their syllabus

Apply for lateral entry in the colleges of IPU which are providing this facility, you will directly get into 2nd year mechanical branch of the respective college.
