i'm a final year btech student.... my stream is mechanical, my degree is under punjab technical university.. i want to go for further studies.. so can you please let me know what are the good options for me..

You have a very good area on Mechatronics where you will learn about application of electronics in the field of Mechanical Engineering. You can also eventually end up in Robotics Engineering, for which knowledge about both Electronics and Mechanical Engineering is a must.

there are endless options for you after your btech,you have to decide what to do,first of all decide weather to study or do the jobs
if you want to study you can do mtech or mba
or you can apply for govt jobs or pvt jobs.

You can do the M.tech by cracking GATE, or go for an MBA through CAT,MAT etc.

hi iwanna tell u that u can go for m.tech ,mba after that & u can do it from ur branch or further any other branch like automobile engg ,robotics engg & much more i t

now you have many options for the higher studies according to your interest, like........

1. M.tech in your field of interest
2. Executive MBA
3. Join research fellowship programs. etc...

dear friend after doing B.Tech in ME, you have so many option for further studies.
as you can do M.Tech in mechatronics or robotics or automobile or many other specialization you can do M.Tech.
you can also switch your career towards management field like MBA, so you have to prepare for CAT,MAT,XAT or other exam for take admission in good management colleges.

just take a right decision in which field you want to go.
because both fields are suitable for you.

there are lot of options after Mechanical Engineerign B.tech. you can go for M.tech in the same from India as well as abroad through GRE/TOEFL.you can also hunt for jobs.

your PCM aggregate should be atleast 50% to get admission in most of the engg colleges.. you have 50+ so im assuming you have written CET conducted by your state.. if u have written, then you can try a seat through management quota in an engg college for marine engg.. u may not be able to get a very good college though.. if you have not written the CET, then u should wait for next yr..
once u get an admission, please work hard and maintain a better aggregate in engg.. then you can get a good job depending on ur merit and physical fitness..

in mechanical or can do MBA.

you can go for following specifications like thermal engg.,autocad etc.
Today, there are vivid specifications,starting from marine to automobiles. Industry get the more qualified people,with better degrees like m.tech.

It is good to know that you want to study further.
Nowadays, after B,tech, there are a lot of options available.
Most common are:
1.MTech
2.MBA

If you wish, you can also opt for CDS or SSB for defense training and subsequent recruitment.
Also, if you wish to, after a post graduation degree, you can go for a doctorate degree ie PhD.

Then you even have the option to work as a research scientist and continue your studied along with it.

You may also consult your teacher for guidance.

AFTER THE B.TECH MECHANICAL YOU MAY GO TO THE SIDE OF MARINE BY VARIFING THE WEB:seajob.net BY WHICH YOU CAN CONSULT THE COMPANIES WITH THEIR ADDRESSES . IT IS CALLED AS MERCHANT NAVY . AFTER B.TECH MECHANICAL ONE MAY GO TO THIS MARINE WITH AGE LIMIT LESSTHAN 25 AND CAN EARN ABOVE 35,000/- PERMONTH.
FOR THIS ONE SHOULD STUDY FOR 6 MONTHS IN MARINE UNIVERSITIES

M.Tech or MS is good option if you want to settle as a professional.
MBA is always a good option to get higher job opportunities.

Those two are mostly preferred by all.

After B.Tech. Mechanical engineering you should go for M.Tech. if you are not interested in M.Tech. then you can persue MBA also if you want.
