Can a girl apply in nda exam if yes, then please tell me about minimum height applicable for nda exam

I'm sorry to inform that Girls are not allowed to apply for NDA Exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA exam to recruit candidate to The Army, Navy and the Air force wings of the National Defence Academy.

Qualification for NDA:- 12th passed or Equivalent passed certificate from recognized state board.

AGE for NDA:- Between 16.5 to 19 years.

Gender:- Male

Martial Status:- Unmarried

Nationality:- Indian

only unmarried boys are eligible for NDA

as your interested in joining defense service you have to complete your graduation in any stream from any recognized university
then you have to crack CDS exam conducted by UPSC,
after this you will be called for SSB/SSC selection camp
in camp screening test group test interview and medical test, have to be cleared then you will be selected on all India merit base
you can opt for army navy air force

notification for this exam will be released twice a year and exam is also conducted

NDA,National Defense Academy Examination is conducted by UPSC – (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year for the selection of candidates to the Indian defense forces such as Army, Navy and Air Force.
The exams are conducted during the months of April and September. And the notification for these exams will come by the month of May and December.

The candidates short listed by this exam will be called for SSB Interview. And those who clear the interview, medically fit are inducted into training at training academies. (Based on the number of vacancies)

If you want to join Army then you have to wait till your graduation. after the age of 21 years and your graduation degree you can apply through the OTA.

As per guide line of UPSC Girls are not eligible for NDA as it is only meant for male candidate only.

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any steam from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

The height requirement for NDA varies according to candidate's age and body weight. However the average height should be 165 cm.

Girls candidate if interested for Defence they can apply after Graduation through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year.

NO, girls can not apply for nda exams, because main requirement in NDA exam is that candidate must be an unmarried male
his age must be between 16 years to the 19 and half.

Why girls are not allowed for NDA? In our coutry if girls are encouraged for getting better education and do all kinds of thing that a boy can do then why not NDA?
If females can contest election get a good degree can be a topper can do job then why not NDA is not allowed for girls?

In every question gal had mentioned askin abu d min height to join nda..but stil no response from ur side??

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for it


You must be an Indian Citizen

The candidate must have a minimum of 12th class from a recognized university
