Can i appear 2nd mate exam after completing 18 months in a ship at a time after DNS

sir now i am going to join the ownership company that company belongs foreign.with out rpsl letter can acceptable to do 2nd mate ,is this possible

u r supposed to appear for functions frm a recognised institute.submit ur DLP to ur pre sea institute n get a SSTP Certificate.

sir, my educational qualification is 10th and I did pre-sea deck rating.I got 36 months of sea service at present.am I eligible for appearing the 2nd mate exam.

i did dns and i got ship at 28 november 2012 now if i will get my all 18 months sea experience at same means only one ship experience so can i apply for 2nd mate is it possible?

Sir i completed my 2nd mate functions in april 2015 and was supposed to appear for examz in may. But due to some personal problems i couldn't appear. Now i am planning to appear this year in may 2016. I have taken a complete gap of one year. Do i have to do the functions again?
