I am deepmala and my d.o.b is 11-9-99, so as per my date of birth tell me that Can l apply for 2016 pmt or not?

AIPMT stands for All India Pre Medical Test. Central Board of Secondary Education conducts this exam every year for undergraduate medical courses like MBBS and BDS.

Eligibility criteria:

Academic qualification is that candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board.

For this entrance exam, candidate must attain the minimum age limit of 17 years on the 31st December of year of admission. So as per your date of birth, you will attain the age of 17 years on 11th September, 1999.

So, you are eligible for the 2016 AIPMT exam. Notification for online application will be published in December 2015.

No, you are not eligible for AIPMT exam 2016.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIPMT exam 2016 but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years.

I am sorry to say that but you can't appear in AIPMT 2016 at the age of 16, because of AIPMT eligiblity criteria.

As per AIPMT eligiblity criteria:

Candidate's age must be 17 years to appear in AIPMT.

Age limit is 17 to 21 years.

You are not eligible to appear in AIPMT 2016.

The eligibility criteria for the All India Pre Medical Test for MBBS and BDS courses are:

AIPMT stands for All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Test. It is a medical entrance examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education once every year for the selection of deserving students for their MBBS or BDS courses from government medical colleges.

--> The qualifications required for being eligible for the same examination are as here under :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. Further there is provision of age relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates.

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree or must be in the final year of same with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in each from a recognized board of education.

Now as your date of birth is 11.09.1999, so by the 31st December 2016 your age will be over 17 years. Hence as per the age criteria mentioned above you are eligible for AIPMT 2016.

The minimum age for a candidate to appear for All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) 2016 is 17 years minimum. He/She should complete 17 years at the time of admission. The maximum age for AIPMT is 25 years.

So, according to your year 1999 you should be completing your 17 years in the year 2016. So, yes you can definitely apply for AIPMT exam.

In 2016 , You will be of 16 years.So , As pet AIPMT critetia , You will not eligible to apply for AIPMT 2016.You can surely apply for AIPMT 2017.
