Respected sir,i have studied upto tenth standard in mumbai and since my dad was transferred to Andhra Pradesh, I did my Inter First year and Second year in Andhra Pradesh. Kindly let me know whether I can appear for the Eamcet exams under non local quota this year (2012). I would also like to know whether any formalities is required to be completed before filling up the forms for Eamcet 2012.

I AM BELONGS TO ANDHRA PRADESH, I AM SERVING IN ARMY. MY SON IS STUDYING CBSE SYLLUBUS IN GUJARATH IS MY SON IS ELEGIBLE FOR EAMCET.

Sir my dad is from AP but on job wise we are staying in Karnataka and studied in Karnataka. Whether I am eligible to take EMCET 2013?

i studied in madhya pradesh till my tenth but studied 3 years in hyderabad(2 years inter,1 year long term).i have got a rank of 5551 in eamcet,i was born in hyderabad and my mother studied here and stayed for almost 20 years.will i be considered local/non local,if non local will i get a seat in ou(chemical engineering)or cbit(civil,chemical,mechanical)?kindly answer my question.

Yes,you can appear for eamcet exam even if you are a non-local candidate.The eamcet is conducted every year for the medicine and engineering streams.While alloting the seats to the candsidates you will be considered as a local candidate if you have studied atleast for five years in Andhra Pradesh otherwise you will be considered as a Non-Local candidate.

As you have secured 5551 rank in eamcet exam being a non-local candidate there is a possibility to get a seat in civil,chemical and mechanical branches.And it also depends on your reservation category,vacany of the seats and after alloting the seats to the local candidates then only the remaining seats will be alloted to the non-local candidates.

dear friend

you can be treated as non-local of andhra pradesh

for local you must stay atleast 7 years in A.P only

but if your parents belongs to A.P then you can this as plus point as their CITIZEN OF AP.for thsi you need to have certificate..

if your father is from defense (CAP),then yes you can go for CAP reservation quota.it does not matter wether you are local or non-local you will get a free seat in ou with the rank of even 10,000 rank under this quota..during counseling you need to show the relation prove certificate and CAP certificate..

the same situation i had faced..starting i too got confused wether i would be consider as local or non-local why because my parents are basically from AP and did my schooling in north zone..

but finally i got the free seat in OU..

My mother is from AP but my father is from bangalore . i was born abroad ... and did my schooling till 3rd std there. I came to bangalore and continued my studies here till intermediate 2nd year .. Now i want to write the eamcet med exam ... Am i considered as local or non local ??? If non local then plz can u tell me the proceedure for paying the application fee...

sir we are staying in muscat. my daughter studied up to 10th class in muscat.To write medical entrance in AP or all india level.now i am thinking which is better weather to continue in muscat or transfer her to AP .please suggest me better options

and i want to know how much% is for non local in eamcet.

sir,I did my schooling in WEST BENGAL and my inter in ap. i a non local ..I have got 591/600 and 109 in eamcet what can be rank in 2015 eamcet and will I be able to get MBBS seat.

I secured AP eamcet rank of 2760. I studied in the state of telangana and local to OU area .My Father is an EX-service man and Domicile of Andrapradesh.For seeking admission into MBBS couse under CAP category.Whether i am eligible in the state of Andrapradesh ? whether any local and Non-local seats under CAP category?
