Number of attempts allowed for JEE Main and Advanced.

As you have mentioned that you passed 10+2 in 2015 then:

1. You can appear for JEE Main in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Three consecutive attempts for candidates of any category.

2. You can appear for JEE Advanced in 2015 and 2016 only as only two consecutive attempts are allowed. Even if you qualify in 2017 JEE Main, you will not be able to appear for JEE Advanced in 2017.

So, you must appear for JEE Main in 2016 and clear it to utilize your last attempt for Advanced. Online applications are going on, you can apply at http://www.jeemain.nic.in

You have passed 12th standard in 2015 so you can apply for JEE Main and Advanced exam in 2017.

Candidate can appear for JEE main exam up to 3 attempts.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for JEE Main exam.

Your 12th standard subject must be Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.
