Can I appear for NET/SET while being in final year of Master's degree?

I am doing M.E in Computer Science and Engineering. Now, I am in final year. Am I eligible for NET/SET? If I am eligible then what paper/subject area I need to choose for exam?

The full form of NET is National Eligibility Test and that of SET is State Eligibility Test. The eligibility criteria for both exams:

1. You must have done master's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year candidates studying in final semester of master's degree can also apply for NET exam.

2. The minimum percentage of marks required is 55% marks in master's degree.

Science and Engineering candidates need to apply for CSIR NET exam. You can select subject of your choice and related to your stream.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
