Since you are 24 years old right now therefore now you are only eligible to enter the Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy. To know in details about the exam read carefully the information written below.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. It it conducted twice a year. Notification of Examination are released every year in the months of August and March and exams takes place in the month of February and August respectively.

C.D.S. EXAM.(II), 2013:-

• Date of Notification: 25.05.2013
• Last Date for Receipt of Application: 24.06.2013
• Exam Date: 08.09.2013

Educational Qualifications:-

• Indian Military Academy: You need a degree from a recognized university.
  
• Indian Naval Academy: You need a B.Sc. degree with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  
• Air Force Academy: You need to have a B.Sc degree with Physics and Mathematics or B.Tech degree of four years' duration.
  
• Officer's Training Academy: You need to possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Limits:-

• For Indian Military Academy: 19-24 years
  
• For Naval Academy: 19-22 years
  
• For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years
  
• For Officer's Training Academy: 19-25 years

Exam Pattern:-

A. For Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:-

Total Marks:- 300 marks
SSB Interview Marks:- 300 marks

Subject Areas:-

1. English (Objective type)- 100 marks
2. General Knowledge (Objective type)- 100 marks
3. Elementary Mathematics (Objective type)- 100 marks

B. For Officers’ Training Academy:-

Total Marks:- 200 marks
SSB Interview marks:- 200 marks

Subject Areas:-

1. English (Objective type)- 100 marks
2. General Knowledge (Objective type)- 100 marks

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy, naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

Yes, you can apply for CDS Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS at the age of 24 years.

Age limit for various wing of CDS:-

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years

India Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years

Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years

Indian Officer's Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

No upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University with good Physical and Mental health, can apply for CDS exam.

CDS stands COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICECDS examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in Air force, Army and Navy.

Educational Qualifications:-

Air Force: You need to have a bachelor's degree in science with physics and mathematics. You can also get a B.Tech degree of four years' duration.

Indian Military: You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

Naval Academy: You need to get a B.Sc degree with physics or mathematics or you can also get a B.Tech degree in Engineering.

Officer's Training Academy: You need to complete graduation in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

Dear Aspirant,


Since you have mention that your age is 24 years then you are eligible for CDS exam but, only for the Indian Military and Officer's Training Posts....

CDS is stands for the Combined Defense Service. This exam is being Conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in year in month of February and August.....

This exam consists three stages:-

## Written Examination
## SSB Interview
## Medical Examination

this exam is being conducted for four post:-

Indian Military Academy : Graduation degree in any field with age should be between 19 to 24 years.... (You are Eligible for it)

Air Force Academy : Graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Aeronautical Engineering with age should be between 19 to 23 years......

Naval Academy : Graduation degree in Engineering with age should be between 19 to 22 years.....

Officers’ Training Academy : Graduation degree in any field with age should be between 19 to 25 years........ (You are Eligible for it)
