*EBC stands for Economically Backward Class. Those who are in open category and if their income is less than on lakh rupees per annum then they can apply for EBC certificate from their respective block.

*There are different procedure to get this certificate in different states. You can check rules and regulations in your state. You can apply for Dr Amdbedkar scholarship for EBC candidates.
