Can I apply for GATE while continuing my B.Tech?
I am doing my B.Tech in Electronics. I am now in third year. Now I want to give GATE in Geology. Can I do it or not? Do I need to complete the B.Tech first and then apply for GATE Geology?

GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is that :- Candidate must have passed or in the final year of B.tech course. There is no age limit to appear for the examination. So, you are not eligible to apply for the examination this year. |

Candidates in 3rd year B.Tech course are not eligible to appear for the GATE.
GATE is conducted for the admission in the M.Tech or recruitment in PSU's. The required eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 4th year of B.Tech course. |
