hi,..i m khushi i want to ask about the eye sight weakness,can i apply for the IAS exam,and tell me more about the physical requirement for IAS entrance exam.plz rply quickly as soon as possible.

what is the difference between ias and ips in case of question pattern and other medical tests?

Yes, you can appear for IAS even if you have weak eyesight. There's no guidelines that are restricting the aspirants like you in UPSC notification for Civil service exams
Civil Services Exam Will be held in Three Round .
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Examination
3. Interview Test
1. Preliminary Exam - This is an objective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, qualifies tothe second phase.
2. Main Exam - This is a subjective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, passes to the third phase after clear this you can go for interview round

Candidate must have graduation Degree in any stream,No specific marks are required,Final year students are also eligible

You can apply for IAS though your eye sight is weak.This exam is irrespective of your physical fitness .Handicapped are also eligibe for it they also have special reservations.

Can I possible to do the IAS Exams in regional languages ? which languages are eligible or supported ?

sure my friend ,you can apply for IAS entrance examination even if you have eye sight.for police services only (like S.I,military,police constable etc.). in UPSC civils examination they are going to test your talent and mental strength only they do not oppose you by your eye sight..all the very best for your future
