Re: Can I apply for IAS while studying in 6th Semester in my Graduation?
hi,
Eligibility criteria for IAS entrance exam is that you have passed your graduation with specified subject . Age limit for IAS exam is between 21-30 year. I thought at this time you are not eligible for IAS exam.first pass your graduation and then apply for IAS exam. you get 7 chance if you are OBC student and there is no limit for SC/ST student. so i will advise you to apply for IAS exam after completion of graduation. |

Re: Can I apply for IAS while studying in 6th Semester in my Graduation?
you have not clarified your course,
whether it is a six semester B.Sc. kind of degree or 8 semester course. If it is the former Then yes you can apply as candidates in final year are eligible to apply in addition to those who have already completed their degree. And if you are in B.tech kind of course you will have to wait till you are in final year of your degree... i.e 7th or 8th semester then you can apply for CDSE etc. for getting into IAF. In addition there are many additional criteria like physical criteria which you will have to fulfill,( strict, without relaxation), then there is age criteria... also only Unmarried candidates are welcome so you have to be unmarried to eligible to apply. |

Re: Can I apply for IAS while studying in 6th Semester in my Graduation?
Can I apply for IAS while studying in 6th Semester in my Graduation?
You Have Not Clear In Your Question That, Is Your Course Are 3 Year Duration Or 4 Year Duration. But, If Your Course Is 3 Year Duration, And You Are In The 6 Semester, Then Yes, You Are Eligible To Apply For IAS Examination. And If Your Course Are 4 Year Duration, Then Sorry, You Cant Apply For IAS Examination In Your 6 Semester, You Are Only Apply For IAS Exams, When You Are In Your 8th Semester. UPSC IAS Exams Eligiblity - Graduation Is The Minimum Eligiblity To Apply For IAS Examination. So, If You Have A Graduate Degree From The Recognised University/Colleges, Then You Are Eligible to Apply For IAS Examination. But Your Age Should Between 21 To 30 Years, Only Then You Are Eligible To Apply For UPSC IAS Examination. So, If You Are In Your Final Semester, Then you Are Eligible to Apply For IAS Examination. The Last Date Of Apply for IAS Examination Was 21/March/2011. For Complete Information, Please Visit the Official Website - http://www.upsc.gov.in |
