Can I apply for jobs in Mechanical sector after doing studies in Automobile branch?
Sir/Mam, I have done Diploma in Automobile Engineering. So, can I apply for government jobs in Mechanical department? Or, do I need to apply in Automobile department only?

Automobile Engineering and Mechanical Engineering both are completely different fields. So, It's not compulsory that you can apply for government jobs where mechanical engineer can apply. Mostly automobile engineers are hired by automobile companies. You can apply for government jobs such as RTO and recruitment by PSC, UPSC, SSC, Railways based on your graduation.
