Hello Sir/Madam, I have secured 85% in 10th, 88% in 12th and 50%in BTech course in the specialization of Chemical Engineering. I want to apply for jobs in PSU. So, can I apply for jobs in PSU with such percentages?

Candidates have to appear and qualify in GATE for final recruitment.

So, you have to do better preparation to qualify in the examination. Only after qualifying in the examination, you will become eligible to get recruitment in PSUs.

** In order to apply for the jobs in PSU, the candidate should have passed 10th, 12th and graduation course from a recognized university.

** The minimum percentage required in 10th, 12th and graduation course is 60%.

** As per your percentage of marks, if you belongs to reserved category candidate then you can apply for the PSU jobs otherwise not.

For recruitment in PSU's candidates have to appear and qualify in GATE.

GATE examination is conducted by IIT or IISc Bangalore. Candidates after qualifying in the entrance test will become eligible appearing in the examination.

Only candidates who have scored better rank in the examination are eligible for recruitment in PSU. So, do better preparation to score better rank in the examination.

The minimum percentage of marks required in bachelor's degree to apply for PSU jobs is 60% or more than it.

You will not be eligible with 50% marks in Bachelor's degree in technology course.

The eligibility criteria for Public Sector Undertakings recruitment:

1. You must have secured minimum of 60% marks in bachelor's degree in technology or engineering.

2. There should not be any standing backlogs.

You can not apply for PSU jobs with 50% marks in Bachelor of Technology course.

Minimum qualification required to get a job in PSU is graduation with more than 50% marks.

As per your qualification, you are eligible to apply for a job. But, your age should be 25 or 26 years to be eligible to apply as per the recent information.
