Re: Can I apply for NET/SET after distance MBA?
Dear Friend
If your university is recognized/approved by Distance Education Council of India, you can surely apply for NET/SET exam because as per the eligibility criteria of UGC-NET all PG candidates (who have done PG from an approved university) are eligible for the exam. There is no clause in NET eligibility that discriminate between regular and Correspondence courses. The NET examination is conducted twice every year. First it is conducted in June and then in December. The notification for the exams come in March and in September respectively. The notification is published in Employment News and in National Dailies. For any further information you can visit: http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/net.html Thank You |

Re: Can I apply for NET/SET after distance MBA?
Dear friend
Though distance mode courses are given less value in industry and by private sector. You have no similar reason to worry in case... govt, agencies don't discriminate on such grounds esp. when you are going for NET/SET.. there maybe questions in the interview regarding your choice of DL course.. but m sure you have an explanation But nothing in Case of NET/SET etc. You must be degree holder of a recognized university.. thats all. Net is conducted twice a year in june and december. visit::http://www.ugc.ac.in you will most likely have to choose economics for NET.. please see on the site and choose carefully whats best for you. wishes diego |
