Can i be an Assistant Professor in physics after doing MSc geophysics?


If someone goes for msc geophysics, after BSc in physics, will he/she be able to do Ph.D. in physics? is he eligible for ugc-csir NET? can he join as an assistant professor of physics in any govt or granted college?

Yes, you can apply for Assistant Professor in Physics after completing Doctorate in Philosophy in Physics.

As per Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, the total number of seats available for the recruitment is 115. The minimum age required is 21 and maximum age limit is 40 as on date.
