Can i become a marine ingeneer after my 10 (s.s.c).

Please tell me if its possible

For doing any engineering course the eligibility criteria is 10+2 with Maths and Physics.

So, you can get admission in Marine engineering after 12th board examination.

There are some institution that offer diploma in such courses but that won't be good

enough for a fantastic career.

These institution use IIT-JEE score for admission in B.Tech.

It would be better if you appear for IIT-JEE and take admission in tone of the above

mentioned colleges. To be eligible for IIT-JEE you should have at least 60% marks in 12th.

sorry to say but you can go to MERCHANT NAVY but you can not do marine engineering .the min qualification required to do any engineering course is 12 th class but you have not done it yet .

but you can join merchant navy in various other post like deck cadet and many more but i won't suggest you that .

so its better if you first pass your 12 th class and then do marine engineering .

So, you can get admission in Marine engineering after 12th board examination.

No, you cannot do marine engineering after 10th class as the minimum qualification is-

2. He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no colour blindness.

Sorry friend,you are not eligible to be a marine engineer with your current education profile.In order to be a marine engineer you need to complete your 12th standard then only you van go for it.

No it is not possible to become a Marine Engineer after 10th...

You have to complete at least your 12th and that too taking science i.e Physics, Chemistry and maths.

after completing your 12th, you can get a direct entry to the post of Deck cadet.

And then you have to undergo a basic pre sea training arranged by the recruiting company itself.

and If you do B.tech after your 12th in fields like Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Technology Engineering, then you can get a direct entry for the post of Engine Cadet/ Fifth Engineer/ Junior Engineer....

Besides these educational Qualification, you also have to pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness.

For marine engineering the minimum eligibility criteria is 12th so i advise you to do first 12th class and then apply for marine engineering. Many institute offer marine engineering course. You can get a good job after completing marine engineering courses.

Go for IIT -Jee , you can appear in IIT after 10+2 pcm
through it you can get admission in some top marine engineering institutes like

they offer B.Sc. degree courses, and IIT JEE scores are used for that purpose

It is pretty good to know that you are very serious about your career and know what you want to do ahead in life.

As you say that you want to become a marine engineer, then let me inform you that minimum eligibility required for doing any engineering course is 10+2 pass or equivalent, also candidates appearing in higher secondary exam can apply.

Since you have just passed class 10, so you do not stand eligible as of now.
But their is nothing to worry, you can grab the opportunity once you clear your class 12 examinations.

You can appear for IIT-JEE or AIEEE exam.

In India ,It is not possible to get admission in Marine Engineering After 10th.

You should have passed 10th+2...i.e.12th
After that there are many ways to achieve goal.
You can do Marine Engineering by passing MHT-CET exam.
Many private ship companies offer different courser regarding to Marine Engineering with heavy Salary.

I have finished my 10th examination and i have scored 472 for 500. I wil finish my 12th but after that in my home no money to join me in higher studies so can i get any chances of merit ?

Academic Qualifications

You must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with:

At least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M), and
At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII

You are not eligible as far now .Study subjects as mentioned above then you will be eligible

No you have to completed 12th to become marine engineer and you should have subjects Physics and math in 12th.After that you have to give entrance examinations conducted for Marin engineer .

the minimum eligibility criteria for Marine engineering is to be a 12th pass out in Science stream with PCM and Biology..so u have to do ur 12th in order to be eligible for anything..

THE minimum qualification to study marine engineering is to complete +2 or other equivalent exams with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. so sorry to say that it is not possible to become a marine engineer after 10th.
