Hi Sir/Madam, my height is 169 cms. I want to become a Sub Inspector. With this height, I am eligible to join Police as a Sub Inspector? Please let me know about this as soon as possible.

Yes, You can be SI with 169cms height.

Minimum height required for general category candidate is 165 cm.

For other category candidate this height criteria is more less, so you are totally eligible for SI post.

Yes, you can definitely become police sub inspector.
Minimum height should be 165 cms for males whereas it should be 150 cms for females (There is an exemption of 5 cms for hillmen and tribals).

Ye,you can ,but height is one of the criteria required for Sub-inspector,you need to fulfill other criterias too.
You need to appear for SSC CGL entrance exam.

Male height :-The height must not be less than 165 cms for General category candidates.
***Height can be relaxed for hill and tribal candidates by up to 5 cms..
**Aspirants applying for SSC CGL must not be less than 18 years and cannot be more than 32 years of age(The lower and upper limit of age varies for each post)
**Must be mentally and physically sounds healthy.
**Must be Indian
**Must have done minimum of graduation.
