Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
If your ultimate career goal is to become a C.A. the you should not be in a hurry
because C.A. course is really a time taking course (5-6 years at least) and so it is very difficult for impatient people. CA course comprises of CPT, IPCC, Articled Training and Final Course. You can get admission in CA course after 12th too but if you are interested in doing B.Com. too then you should better register for the course after B.Com. Assuming that you are in 12th at present If you are presently studying in 12th Std. then you can register for CPT course now (CPT is the first stage of CA course). First time you will be appearing CPT in June 2013. If you qualify the CPT in your first attempt then you can register for IPCC in the year 2014. Then after passing IPCC you will have to undergo Articled Training of 3 years duration and after you will become eligible for Final Course. If you pass all the exams in one go without any failiure then its very good but things are not that easy as they seem to be. If due to some reason your mind is changed then without graduation you will find no good way of making a good career. Benefits of doing C.A. after B.Com. You will have to wait three more years to register for the course but you will get many benefits. 1. You can directly register for IPCC if you score 50% or more in B.Com. 2. You can start preparation of IPCC during B.Com. itself. There are many contents common in B.Com. course and IPCC. 3. If due to some reason you wish to quit CA and switch to some other career option then as a graduate you will have multiple career options to be adopted. The time taken for completion of the course may differ by some months or year but C.A. through B.Com. seems more useful both in C.A. as well as in other career options. |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
Hi,
No cannot do it together. After completion of your graduation you need to do CA. So you can start your studies now with your B.com so that you can easily get the syllabus and study and after completion you can appear for exams. So you should start your studies very seriously because most of the people will not be able to get through CA so accordingly you should prepare ad appear for exam and clear the exam in one shot so that you can get better job and earn high packages in yor life. |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
Hi,
Yes, you can do CA and B.Com simultaneously. Basic eligibility criteria for both the courses is intermediate pass. You can apply for B.Com and CA both. For Chartered Accountant course, you will have to qualify CPET conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants Of India. CPET - Common Proficiency Test. CPET is conducted in June and December every year. You can apply for CPET test and on passing this test, you can enroll yourself for Foundation course. So, you can pursue both the courses side by side. One more thing if you do only graduation, then after graduation, you will not have to do foundation course for CA, infact you will be enrolled in intermediate level. |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
Hello friend,
yes you can do both CA and B.com.you can do B.com in two ways: 1.Regular 2.Non regular In regular you have to visit daily to the college because you have to need 75% attendance there. but in non regular you have doesn't required to attend the class. AS my opinion if you want to do CA also then non regular is the best option because you have to prepare for the CA exams also and CA exam preparation is very tough. I hope this helpful to you.... Thanking you..... |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
- It is possible to do CA and B.Com together.
- CA means Chartered Accountant. - B.Com means Bachelor of Commerce. - CA course can be done by passing CPT. - CPT means Common Proficiency Test. - B.Com can be done by taking admission in a college according to the cut off marks required by that college. - CA course after 12th has three levels - Foundation, Intermediate and Final level., while after graduation there are only two levels - Intermediate and final level. - B. Com is a three year degree course. - So, both can be done together if managed properly. |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
Absolutely you can pursue B.Com along with Charted Accountant (CA) course.
B.Com is one of the most famous course among the students who want to pursue an under graduate course along with Charted Accountancy course. However now a days it becomes difficult for students who wish to continue with both courses simultaneously. This is probably because of new SEMESTER system which is adopted by most of the universities. The case is not same with the students pursuing B.Com by distance learning programme or say open learning as they get much more time to concentrate on CA along with B.Com and examinations are also conducted on annual pattern. |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
Yes you can do ca and b.com at the same time.
The eligibility is that you should have cleared your 12th in commerce field. B.com is generally opted as a back up for ca. As ca is very difficult course to pursue, therefore if you won't be able to make it up to any of the phases of cpt or IPCC, then this simultaneous degree of b.com saves your precious time. Gud luck |

yes , you are definitely eligible for this combination, the combination of c.a+b.com is very trendy now a days, as c.a is a correspondence course there is no requirement of attendance one can opt for ca as well as b.com from a regular college until he reaches ca article ship of 2.5 years so you can join ca as well as b.com course, and as per latest notification of university grant commission students are allowed for pursuing 2 degrees together but one of them should be correspondence and one should be regular or either both correspondence so you have a good scope good luck |

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
I am very happy that i am doing ca-cpt and b.com at the same time. I am doing b.com from JAYPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY in distance.in this way ineed not take the trouble of memorising the subjects of b.com.I can do assignments of b.com subjcts in my home by seeing the books.since,my exam centre is a home centre i have the advantage during the exam writing answers by seeing b.com books. This process saves my time for ca-cptand reduces the stress of memorising the subjects of b.com.Please give your comments in this regard.

Re: Can I do both Ca and B.Com together?
Hello.
Yes,you can do CA and B.com both together. Basic requirement of both courses is that the candidate should be 12th passed. B.com can be done in two ways :- Regular. Non-Regular. In Regular you have to go collage regularly and you have to maintain the attendance upto 75%. In Non Regular it is not compulsory to go to collage you have to only go to the collage at the time of examination. I suggest you should opt the Non Regular in B.com and you should prepare for CA. |
