I have completed 3 years full time Diploma course in Electrical Engineering. Now, am I eligible to apply for B.Tech or BE in Chemical Engineering? Do I need to appear for any entrance for this? If yes, please share details of that entrance (syllabus, exam pattern, model papers).

Candidates after diploma in Engineering course are eligible to get admission in B.Tech course through lateral entry in 2nd year but not eligible to change the stream.

You can go for B.Tech in chemical engineering because it's also provide lot of jobs opportunity related to drugs and medicine.

Firstly you cannot change your stream if you do a diploma in that stream.
