i am a btech student in electrical and electronics engineering,can i have amy mtech in robotics specialistion.

you can get only part time course not M.Tech because there are no college provide M.Tech in robotics so you have to do course.

you can do M Tech in robotics specialization ......
because eligibility criteria that is.....
* Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
* B. Tech. / BE in Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation
& Control/ IT/C S E Engineering with minimum 60% marks

dear friend yes you can do M.TECH in Robotics because this is eligible for your branch.But first you will give GATE exam.If you want to do M.TECH in Robotics that's why this is totally depend on you.

if you are a BE EEE student then ya sure you can choose the robotics inn ME as it deals with electronics..so yes definitely you can go for robotics...

there are some other Mtech streams too which give you high salary packages jobs

yes i think you may choose robotics specialization in M.Tech from electrical and electronics engineering. actually in M.tech you may choose any subject which is just related to your stream of B.Tech. there are so many things on robotics which are related to electrical and electronics.


you should contact to the institution where you want to take admission. they will give the exact information about choosing the paper of M.Tech.

but you will face difficulty if you choose robotics. it is better to choose your own stream subject in M.Tech. because in M.Tech you have to do specialization in a subject. a subject which is not related to your branch may create problem at the time of higher study.

For M.tech in robotics you can apply for GATE exam and after clearing the GATE exam you will be the option for doing M.tech with reputed universities.
Other option is :
This branch of M. Tech. (IT) is specifically but not restrictively working on the Robot related research and development in IIIT Allahabad.

Yes,you can do your M.tech in Robotics but you have to appear in GATE entrance Exam and you have to score more.otherwose you can also appear in TANCET(tamilnadu common Entrance test).

There are some colleges which offers in M.tech in Robotics:-

IIT Kharagpur
IIT Madras
MIT,chennai
Anna University
Park Engineering College,Coiambatore etc..

M.TECH means specialization in the subject what you have studied till now.but if u take the subject not related to your studies till now then definetly you will face a problem there. my suggestion is take the specialisation related to your present studies...............

only few institutions will provide this course that too only reputed institution will have this course.IF you have good percentage in B.TECH you can join easily with merit....

Yes you can join ROBOTICS after EEE. After all robotics has lot to do with electricals and electronics.

But i prefer that having a degree in BE mechatronics would be an added advantage.

If you have the passion and knowledge then you can ofcourse you can do ROBOTICS, .

About admissions you dont worry you can surely apply. It all depends on your mind, if you are ready to take it.

yes you can do

by applying for gate or tancet or pgcet but robotics is dream branch one should get high scores in respective exam to avoid competation

First thing you should appear in the entrance exam of Mtech .
.
and according to that you should choose Robotics for your master degree but you will be appear in the gate exam as a subject of Robotices engg not your stream ..

if you clear their entrance thet only you choose that for that ..

Infact there is a large demand for Robotics Engineering in India, but the specialised engineers are less.

Procedure to for M.tech Robotics –

You have to appear for GATE and on the basis of GATE score, you can get admission in M.Tech Robotics.

i am Mtech robotics ... i devoted to pure research on robotics ..but still after 1 year of post graduation i do not have job... the way i got to mtech was through GATE that too i got admitted to a Government college branded as iiit... when i had the GATE result i was so happy that now my future will change.....

Why Not!!!! For doing that you must have a A Bachelor’s degree in EEE with 60% and valid GATE score.Good colleges which are known for doing remarkable in the field of Robotics are:
