Can I do NET in Home Science after B.Tech in Food Technology?


I have completed my B.Tech in Food Technology followed by MBA. So, now can I apply for NET in Home Science? Or, which other subject would be best suitable with my previous specialization?

Though you can appear for UGC NET home science, but BSc & MSc Food tech. ... Further, I understand that there is no subject which covers Food technology, and home science branch Food & nutrition is quite similar to it.
