Dear sir, will i be elligible for jee if i don't get 60% marks in my 12th exams by state board ?

am i eligible for counselling with 39 marks in jee main and 71% in 12 th class cbse

Yes,you will not be eligible to apply for IIT-JEE Exams from the year 2013 if you do not have a minimum of 70% marks in Class XIIth.To appear in IIT-JEE Mains exam from the year 2013 you will required to meet these eligibility conditions :

• You should be pass out in class XIIth from recognized board/university.
• Your subject stream in class XI and XII should be Science.
• Your subject combination in class XI and XII should be Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Your minimum marks in class XIIth should be 70%.
• Your average marks in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics should be 60%.
• You should be subjectively pass out in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Your age should not be above 25 years.

Important :-

• You cannot appear in this exam more then three times.
• If you will not able to get pass in JEE Mains exam then you will not be able to apply for JEE Advanced Exam.
• To get pass in JEE Mains Exam your minimum ranking should be under 1.5 Lakhs.
