Im pursuing btech final year . I belong to ECE branch . what are the software languages i have to acquire to be recruited into any software company?

for b.tech ECE u need to learn and command on java and dotnet as in current market demanding.

its not necessary that you should know all the computer languages..you must have a control over any one of the languages...you can learn any of the following
1.C
2.C++
3.java
4.dot net
now a days java is mostly preferred since its platform independant..

Most companies are requiring for skills in language like Java , Dot net , Oracle , etc. If you will have these skills then the chances of selection in the campus is more.

1) C, C++
2)Dot-net
3) Java, j2EE - it is now most wanted. advance like structs, spring etc,These are software, most wanted by companies.

you can learn c,c++ or languages like dot net......php for web development.

hi friend
for IT sector company there are many diff types of languages which are used by many software companies.
there are a lots of companies which r update their database with the help of c,c++.
now a days there are mainly 2 languages are most popular.
1.java
2..NET
java is a very good option to learn bcoz now a days there are many scope for this language.

any software company wants that you have knowledge about :
1.any programming lanuage c/c++/java/dot net
2. any operating system(linux is best)
3.database(oracle,my sql)

Dear friend......

it is time of the technology and this is changing day by day.

.net was very much used before 5 years and the work done was based 70 to 80%, bur in these days the work is only based 7 to 8%.

this is the time of the java language.

java is a world wide language. this is mainly of two types:-

core java
advance java

you can also go for the web designing, you can do php and the asp also

i am november 2010 b.tech i.t with 66.00 from anna unoversity..cerified java in niit..and SCJP 1.6..
i tried job help of niit march to may.bt i didnt offer..so, i joined NTL[payment job] and work for 4 months with 2.76laks..
badluck that company closed..now,again i am un employeed
calls are very less for 2010 passedout...what can i do now..? do any course..? take exp from jan2011..if taKEN ITS only 1 year..its same as fresher..

whats my carrer...please suggest me in right way...if there any course to be employee as early as possible..i want be employee 2010passedout with b.tech..

All Final year students especially ECE students make you strong in C language alone. Which will make you better to understand any language based on your placement.
C language also most wanted only. Many MNCs recruiting C language :-)
