I failed in class 10th's Mathematics paper under CBSE Board's curriculum. However, I have passed in all other subjects. So, now can I get admission in class 11th in school affiliated to West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE)?

No, you can not get admission in 11th standard in any board of India if you donot clear Mathematics subjects in 10th standard board exam. Only those candidate who has passed all subjects in 10th standard are eligible for admission in 11th standard.

You need to reappear for supplementary paper examination of this subject and score at least passing marks so that you have pass status in overall 10th board exam. Then, you can proceed for admission in 11th standard in any board.

When a candidate has not passed all subjects of secondary board examination then he will not be given admission in any state or central board for pursuing senior secondary board examination.

The first step for you is to clear your failed status in Mathematics paper. You can either appear for compartment examination or regular exam.

Tenth passed candidates can apply for admission in 11th standard.
