Can I get a BSc(Agriculture) seat in any reputed Government college with 27000 rank in KCET and 89% in 2nd PUC if belong under Agriculture quota?
Hello Sir/Madam, I have secured 27000 rank in KCET for the BSc Agriculture course. I have scored 89% marks in 2nd PUC and I came under Agriculture quota. So, can I get seat in any reputed Government college?

You need to wait for counselling round and attend it without fail,as there are certain factors like number of seats vacant/number of students opt for the course.

There are many factors which determines the rank and it changes every year. But but for a round figure, If you have taken the exam in 2018, to make your rank lie under the 1000, a candidate may need to get around 130–160 Marks in KCET and around 90–95% in 12 Boards
According to the review from the KCET, it is observed that the cutoff for the general category is supposed to be 50% of the total marks. Try to score above 90% and above 120 marks in KCET to get a rank below 5000. Under 1000-2000 rank there are chances to get better/good college but more than that you may get the seat but good college(top rated) would be less |
