Hai,
Yeah General caste candidates also eligible for Indian Army. But the minimum educational qualification is 12th standard, after 12th standard you are eligible to apply NDA(National Defence Academy) and after completion of graduation you are eligible for CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam, these two exams are conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. :::NDA Exam details::: Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board of india. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e Girls are not eligible for NDA exam. The age limits are 16.5years to 19years. No upper age relaxation. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Candidate must be physically fit. Selection process:- Written test, SSB Interview, Medical test. Physical standards:- :::CDS exam details::: Eligibility criteria:- Scheme of exam:- For more details visit below website www.upsc.gov.in Best of luck. |
