I appeared in UPSEE 2011 and expected to get a rank within 1000 and 100 in girls quota. I am from General Category. Can I get HBTI Kanpur, if so which branch.

With 1000 rank, you won't be able to get admission in HBTI Kanpur but
as you have got the reservation under Girls category so you will surely get
admission in HBTI Kanpur.

You could find difficulty in getting CSE and Electronics but you should
get mechanical engineering for sure.

since you are having girls quota, you are having chances of getting admission in HBTI. you will be called in the first counselling. but i think, with this rank you will not be able to get a good trade there. you must fill all the streams in the counselling and if your luck works, you will surely get a good stream. otherwise you can try in other government colleges of U.P. they are also good.

i am arjun prajapati . i have obtained rank 32(OBC) through upsee 2011 entrance exam . and i have gained college HBTI for MCA through councelling . But my BSc(IT) 6th semeester mark sheet is late. my BScIT 6th semester result will be announced till 7th September 2011 and original mark sheet will come till 3o october 2011 .

Yes you can definitely get admission in HBTI and in popular branches too except Electronics and Communication which is the most sought after branch.
