NIT - National Institutes of Technology


These are known as one of the most reputated technical colleges in our country. So a lot of people desire to get admission in the NIT's and IIT's.

Just like IIT's conduct their own entrance exam, but the NIT's select candidates based on the rankings in the AIEEE exam.


AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Exam. This is conducted by the CBSE every year to select candidates for the NIT's and other good engineering colleges across the country.



Now as you say, that you have got only 48 marks in the AIEEE paper, I am really sorry to say that you cannot get any seat in any of the NIT's.


NIT's are highly demanded and so the seats get filled up in the top 5000 ranks itself.

So I am not sure if you would get any seat in any of the streams until you have some strong quota and luck for your favor.

You can get admission in NIT
Raipur only if you secured good
rank in AIEEE. You didn't
mentioned your AIEEE rank, so i
am not able to analyze your
situation. If you qualified AIEEE
have good rank then you can get
admission in civil engineering in
NIT Raipur.
Here is estimate of AIEEE rank
upto which you can get seat in
NIT Raipur in civil engineering:
OBC 25000
General 20000
SC 80000
ST 150000
